With even more seasonal and mixed-media projects available, there’s always something new to try. Whether you're a parent and child duo or bringing the whole family, our classes are a perfect way to connect, learn, and make lasting memories through art.
In glass fusion, kids and teens get the chance to work with colorful pieces of glass to design their own sun catchers, pendants, or tiles. They’ll learn about the properties of glass, how it changes in the kiln, and how to safely handle materials. This class offers a rare chance to experiment with a medium that's both dazzling and different, creating artwork that is vibrant, durable, and entirely their own.
The pottery wheel class introduces students to the exciting process of throwing clay on a wheel. Participants learn how to center clay, pull walls, and shape their own pottery under the guidance of experienced instructors. It’s a fantastic opportunity to develop fine motor skills and patience while watching a lump of clay transform into a bowl, cup, or other vessel. Each student leaves with a sense of accomplishment and a unique piece of ceramic art.
In the clay hand-building class, young artists explore the fundamentals of working with clay using only their hands and simple tools—no wheel required. Kids and teens learn techniques like pinching, coiling, and slab construction to shape functional and decorative pieces. This class encourages creativity and tactile exploration, allowing students to bring their ideas to life while gaining confidence in a medium that’s both fun and forgiving.
In the terrarium or cloche class, students explore the intersection of art and nature by creating miniature worlds using plants, moss, stones, and decorative elements. They’ll learn about design balance, layering, and plant care while assembling a living work of art inside a glass container. This class encourages creativity, mindfulness, and a sense of connection with the natural world—plus, the finished project makes a great gift or keepsake.
The canvas painting class lets students unleash their inner painter as they work with acrylics on stretched canvas. With guidance on color mixing, brush techniques, and composition, each participant completes a themed painting during the session. Whether they’re inspired by nature, animals, or abstract designs, kids and teens will walk away with a finished masterpiece and new painting skills they can continue to build on.
